The result of the move request was: moved to Line 2 (Sistema de Tren Eléctrico Urbano) per WP:NOTCURRENTTITLE. Weighing in all the options in this RM and in the discussions for line 1 and line 3, this format seems to be the most appropriate one. Line 2 of the Guadalajara urban rail system → Line 2, Guadalajara Urban Electric Train System – Clarity NorthWestPianoShrimp319 (talk) 11:32, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
- Move to Sistema de Tren Eléctrico Urbano (Line 2). The name of the article on the system is Sistema de Tren Eléctrico Urbano. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:04, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
- Ought the article to be called that? English may for purposes of clarity be better, Although there may be policy stating otherwise.
- But your proposed title looks better to me than the one the article had originally, so I approve of it. NorthWestPianoShrimp319 (talk) 08:21, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- The policy is WP:COMMONNAME. Unless there's an established and commonly used name in English then we use the original Spanish. -- Necrothesp (talk) 08:44, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- I agree with the new name based on the main article's title. Indeed the original title is not very clear, it probably is also grammatically incorrect.
- I find it a little cumbersome to name the article as a literal translation of Sistema de Tren Eléctrico Urbano (Urban Electric Train System), because the specific combination of those words isn't very common in English.
- By the way, I assume that all other lines' articles (1, 2, 3, 4) will be renamed in this same format, right? SistemaRayoXP (talk) 20:38, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- I would hope so NorthWestPianoShrimp319 (talk) 02:00, 5 October 2023 (UTC)
- Move to Line 2 (Guadalajara urban rail system) per WP:CONSISTENT. See Line 2 for how many articles are in this format. S5A-0043Talk 11:56, 19 October 2023 (UTC)
- That's fine, but why would we use an English term for the system when the article on the Sistema de Tren Eléctrico Urbano itself does not? -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:21, 19 October 2023 (UTC)
- I only have opinions for the "Line X (system name)" formatting only. I don't exactly have opinions on what (system name) yall wanna use, just that I copy pasted the Guadalajara... from the original title into the (system name). This applies for the other 3 articles of this system as well. S5A-0043Talk 23:42, 19 October 2023 (UTC)
- I like the format but I also agree with @Necrothesp. Line X (Sistema de Tren Eléctrico Urbano) seems adequate to me. SistemaRayoXP (talk) 04:29, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
