On November 18, 2019 the Wall Street Journal reported the acquisition of Emergent Cold from hedge fund Elliott Management Corp. in a deal reportedly worth over $900 million in value. The transaction would increased Lineage’s global footprint by about 8%, to more than 1.7 billion cubic feet of capacity. Adding Emergent strengthened the Company’s leading port presence in the United States and signified its entry into the Australian, New Zealand, and Sri Lankan temperature-controlled logistics markets, building on Lineage’s existing presence in the Asia-Pacific region.   Not done - Thank you for your suggestion. I am declining this edit request because the proposed text is too promotional and does not adhere to Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising, marketing or public relations, but the purpose of your proposed text is clearly to win over prospective customers and investors. Lineage LogisticsLineage (company) – Lineage Logistics rebranded to Lineage in April 2024, as evidenced by sources including Food Logistics and CNBC (source; source). Following Wikipedia's naming conventions, the page should reflect the current and most recognized name of the company to ensure accuracy and consistency.
