Is this article/list useful?
editHow does this list improve on just taking Category:Argentina and its subcategories? I was directed to the list from Portal:Argentina, so perhaps the idea is to work on a resource which can be used to find future selected articles?-gadfium 08:40, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not sure about its purpose, but it seams silly to have all the Argentine related articles in one article. Perhaps a list of the most important articles sorted by topics, say culture, history, economy, sports, etc. The way it is right now it helps little. Mariano(t/c) 09:06, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
- I agree with Mariano. And not only is silly, it's also imposible (or hard
;)
). But it's useful for me to create traduced articles in spanish wiki. MauronZ 22:50, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
- Isn't it more accurate (and easier to maintain) just to add adequate category tags to relevant Argentina-related categories to "all" Argentina-related Wiki-Articles? As I've tagged this "Talk Page" to include it in the scope of the WikiProject Argentina, it'd be interesting to know what the members of that project (and this article's author) think about this.

Hi all, I'm revisiting this article/list. Why is this list useful, compared with just accessing the relevant "Category"? Is this maintainable? Are the articles added automatically or manually? Thanks & regards, DPdH (talk) 00:45, 28 April 2009 (UTC)

The result of the proposal was move. JPG-GR (talk) 20:09, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
Of the 56 countries of the Americas, 50 have articles entitled "List of country-related topics". The other six countries have articles of identical format entitled "List of country-related articles". In the interest of consistency, I propose renaming the six articles entitled "List of country-related articles" to "List of country-related topics" as shown below. --Buaidh (talk) 21:37, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
- List of Argentina-related articles → List of Argentina-related topics
- List of Aruba-related articles → List of Aruba-related topics
- List of Canada-related articles → List of Canada-related topics moved 11:53, December 23, 2008
- List of Cuba-related articles → List of Cuba-related topics
- List of United States-related articles → List of United States-related topics
- List of Venezuela-related articles → List of Venezuela-related topics
- It was requested that this article be renamed but the procedure outlined at WP:RM#Requesting potentially controversial moves did not appear to be followed, and consensus could not be determined. Please request a move again with proper procedure if there is still a desire for the page to be moved. Thank you for your time!Aervanath lives in the Orphanage 19:42, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
