Changes in the tables
editHello. I just wanted to let people know that I did delete the viewing figures for two reasons. First of all, the grid was getting too big and cluttered with all those columns. Secondly and most importantly, there were only viewing figures for last series and this current series. (Plus some of the viewing figures from Series 6 wasn't sourced) There was no sourced information for Series 1-5 at all. What I've learned from editing other pages is if you want to add a column like that to a page with grids like this one , you should have it fair and balanced. You should have sourced viewing figures for every series. Just to have sourced information for the current series is not enough. For a show like Alan Carr Chatty Man, there are viewing figures for each series, as that practice was adopted during the first series. If you wanted to add a column for viewing figures ,you would have to do it for the earlier series, which I think is something that is a very difficult task to accomplish, so I left it off the grids for Series 6 or 7. Perhaps someone could add something on either Celebrity Juice or the List page discussing viewing figures away from the grids.
Otherwise, things look cool, I just hope that people are going to fix the grids for the other series if people want to seperate the guests into Fearne's team and Holly's teams. I think a lot of the episodes are on Youtube. Hope my edits make sense and we can come to some kind of consensus.174.89.240.181 (talk) 19:52, 20 February 2012 (UTC)samusek2
- YouTube is not a reliable source. Bruvtakesover (T|C) 21:43, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
I know but I just thought that those episodes could aid in helping people who are transforming the grids into teams. You wouldn't use them as Wikipedia sources, but you could use it as a personal ressource . Just a suggestion. 174.89.240.181 (talk) 22:19, 20 February 2012 (UTC)samusek2
As I've said before, there is no source for ratings information from episodes from two-three years ago. (I don't know if there is any information available) Also there was no ratings information for Series 1 and 2 and to have ratings informtion you would have to have SOURCED ratings numbers for ALL series not just the recent series. See above for other reasons. I also want to say that I am doing this from experience editing other pages and am only trying to be helpful using what other editors have told me. 65.94.244.110 (talk) 19:30, 29 May 2012 (UTC)samusek2
Various Edits on the page
editHi I just wanted to let people know about the edits that I recently did on the page. I know that there are certain contributors who may be in conflict with these edits, so, as per a known moderator's advice, I decided to explain them on this talk page.
1. There is no need to link Spud the Dog to the official page when a simple unlinked mention would suffice. As for the Black Crow, you don't really need to link that. I compromised and linked "crow", butyou didn't have to.
2. Please do not add in guests for future episodes without a valid source. In all the sources for next week's episode, there is only mentions of Katy B and Greg James, no mention whatsoever of Chris Moyles and the person that added the source to his Twitter account, There is no mention by him that he is taping CJ. I checked.
3. There is no real need to mention that Ant and Dec rescheduled their appearance or that Vernon Kay was supposed to be on this week's episode but pulled out. It's not really that notable as I believe that many other celebrities were booked to be on the show but pulled out and if we included every mention, the page would be too busy. Anyways, Ant and Dec did appear on the show later on that series. If a celebrity pulls out, we shouldn't make a special note.
4. Rufus Hound is not taking part on the show presently for unknown reasons. Mad Mad World finished taping late February, Early March. He is done with that series at present. If he's still not on Celebrity Juice right now, it's most likely for some unknown reason.
That is all I can think of at present. I hope that these are clear and people will be able to understand them. I don't want to start another edit war. Any comments would be appreciated. Just leave them underneath. Thanks174.89.240.181 (talk) 17:53, 12 April 2012 (UTC)samusek2
Unnecessary edits -October 2012
editWhoever is making unnecessary edits to this page, please stop. Your edits are not constructive and not sourced.
1. For bands like The Wanted, you do not need to link every band member's name as if you click on their name, it will just direct you back to the band's page. They do not have individual pages. Linking the Band's name is sufficient enough.
2. Spud the Dog was not the Magazine Head for that week. He didn't pop his head through the magazine and talk. He was just on screen and mentioned for that particular episode. For some reason, there was no magazine Head. Also , putting in Keith's Black Crow is not needed in this column. Ultimately, if it's not a human celebrity, it should be left as "n/a"
3. Also, the major problem is the edits of upcoming episodes. Please do not add guests to episodes that have not been taped yet. For the episode two weeks from now, that has not been filmed yet and all sources do not show Chris Ramsey's name on it. Also, you don't have to move Mel C's name. If he is on the show wait for a valid source or the show to actually air to make changes. Also, please do not add upcoming episodes without valid sources that you claim to know the tape date for. First of all, the ITV Press Office only has releases for the next two weeks only. (last one being the Spooky Special). Secondly, those dates are incorrect. I have a strong suspicion that there will not be any Celebrity Juice for those two weeks as they usually take a break while the new series of I'm a Celebrity and its spin-off show takes over. The show will most likely return when the reality show wraps a few weeks later. Yes there is a Little Mix Special that has been filmed, but there is no sourced confirmation of when it will air.
All in all, Please stop with all the unnecessary edits that are not warranted. If there is anything you would like to add or to explain your reasoning, please write it underneath my post. Thanks and hope that you understand.70.53.224.75 (talk) 14:40, 27 October 2012 (UTC) samusek2
What to do with Gino
editGino D'Acampo has taken on a regular role on the show, however he is not assigned to the one team as was previously assumed (and as Rufus Hound was before him). Should he be added in with the guests to represent which team he is on? Ruffice98 (talk) 00:32, 27 March 2015 (UTC)
