Should Lyoko Gang move to Team Lyoko
editI think the title of this article has some grammer mistakes and a lot of link that link to this page are type Team Lyoko. How about rename this article to Team Lyoko. By Oscarcwk 03:51 GMT, 20-11-05
- Some random person 06:33, 22 November 2005 (UTC)
You already made a redirect page for it. It can't be renamed unless the redirect page is removed from the system. Alternatively, you could switch the contents of this article for the contents of the Team Lyoko article.
Do You Like Which Name? Lyoko Gang or Team Lyoko
editI think this article should rename to Team Lyoko If the number of supports is more than the number of opposes after 1 week, I will rename this article to Team Lyoko. by oscarcwk ,22-11-2005, 8:45 GMT
actually, the official name is the lyoko warriors, as i remember yumi saying "you're a lyoko warrior, you swore to it," to william. ShinkisRule (talk) 16:02, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
Supports
editIf you support it, please leave your name and time here.
Some random person 23:14, 23 November 2005 (UTC) - Might as well. Every relevant link already uses the term. It should be noted that unless you get an admin to remove the redirect page, you'll have to move the article manually. On the other hand, it really doesn't matter. You end up at the same place regardless of which name is used.
Team Lyoko's okay. KFan II 01:29, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
Opposes
editIf you oppose it, please leave your name and time here.
I'm against the name "Team Lyoko", it makes the whole thing sound cheesy.
Besides, the name "Lyoko Gang" has been used all over the place in fan-works, and I've never seen "Team Lyoko" until I checked this page.
The Final Result
editBecause the result is 1(Support) to 2 (Oppose), so I will not rename this page. By Oscarcwk 13:10, 29 November 2005 (UTC).
Is Jim hispanic?
edit- Because his surname is Morales.
- I'm thinking he has Spanish roots-ntpnick (Not logged in)
- Maybe, but there's never been anything to support this.

Will
editWe should probalby set Willam up with his own page, it seems he's going to be a key factor in season 4.Lego3400: The Sage of Time 17:14, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
He should get a page, considering theres a page for Jim and Sissi. Plus the season 4 concept art implies William having a bigger role than supporting character.Pitstain 03:34, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
+1. But categorizing won't be easy. Heroe or villain? Barraki 14:13, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
Within the article, you could do a section on him as a hero and him as a villain. Not literally a section saying "William did this, that, and the other that was good" and a section saying "William did this, that, and the other that was bad;" but a section called something along the lines of "Lyoko Warrior," and, if he turns out to be a (not necessarily willing) minion of X.A.N.A., a section called "Minion of X.A.N.A." That way, you wouldn't have to really worry about categorizing. Stars in the Night Sky 15:39, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Aelita 3D.jpg
editImage:Aelita 3D.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:03, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
William
editWilliam needs his own article. He is a main character now. Codelyoko193 Talk 17:22, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
Why?
editCan someone tell me why the Lyoko gang members don't have their own pages anymore?- Billybobpeter15, 8:48, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
- I believe that all of the pages met some of the requirments of the deletion policy in Wikipedia. I was also very surprised that this happened. Who tagged these pages for deletion? :( -BlueAmethyst .:*:. 17:21, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
- User:JetLover. I am NOT surprised, because as I said, there were no sources. Thanks, Codelyoko193 Talk Contributions 17:49, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
- Eh, whatever, this is messed up. Personally, I really liked the articles...-BlueAmethyst .:*:. 21:58, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
Franz Hopper
editThat isn't his name. I put his real last name down, but his first name isn't Franz. I didn't get to watch the episode though so I don't know what it is. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aelita at Kadic (talk • contribs) 21:09, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
- According to a french episode, his name is Waldo Franz Schaeffer. His wife's name is Antea Schaeffer, Hopper being her maiden name. Since it would be a spoiler for English-episode viewers, it'll probably stay as 'Franz Hopper' for the time being.Billybobpeter15, 8:48, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
Typo?
editFrom List of primary characters in Code Lyoko#Elisabeth "Sissi" Delmas:
- Undoubtedly snobbish, during the first season she only rarely showed a more emphatic side.
Should this be empathic? Jeodesic 23:08, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
Looks like it, although emphatic fits, in its own little way. Curtmack of the Asylum 23:40, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Aelita's surname
editWho added Aelita's surnames in? Although I think it's good, as the other mebers of th group have there second names, due to different types of the show, how would it tell the truth? AS in the English she is Aelita Hopper, while in most of the other versions her farther had a different name and would use that? (This was my friend's idea, not mine) Vitual aelita (talk) 21:56, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- She never goes by Hopper, and if you read Hopper's section, you'd see that's wrong anyway. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 22:00, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
I know, thats what i told my friend. But she is stubborn and hates being wrong, lol. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Vitual aelita (talk • contribs) 23:13, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Aelita's real name is Aelita Schaeffer. It is discovered in Wrong Exposure. She is the daughter of Antea and Franz. Her mother's maiden name is Hopper. Franz Hopper's real name is Waldo Franz Schaeffer. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.83.50.58 (talk) 00:14, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
It's Jeremie right?
editHis name is Jermie Belphois right? On the official Code Lyoko website, CODELYOKO.com it is said to be Jeremy and it is mostly spelled Jeremy. But I have heard its Jermie. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.83.50.58 (talk) 00:18, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
It is indeed Jeremie, not Jeremy. FalconPunch2 (talk) 18:38, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Heights?
editI remember back when the primary characters had their own pages, and their heights and weights were mentioned. I don't care if they aren't included in this article (really, I don't), but could somebody please tell me these things? All I remember is that Yumi is over five feet tall, and everyone else is shorter than her (with Odd as the shortest).-- Aelita@Lyoko (talk) 15:32, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
Article Reduced
edit- I remember visiting this article not long ago. It used to have plenty of information, including personal pages, but now it's just a higlight. If I were new to Code Lyoko, I wouldn't really see any potential in the series by reading this article. I strongly believe that this article has been reduced and should be improved. Thanks. WhisperInDaWind (talk) 23:22, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
Milly+Tammiya
editShould they be added under supporting characters? They've had just as major roles in episodes as much as Sissi or Jim. Milly was the first character to even speak in the show. The first episode's first line was her speaking.
Major roles include in Attack of the Zombies, Music to Sooth the Savage Beast, and Teddygodzilla.
XANA
editit is in fact spelled XANA, not Xana as it is commonly misspelled, like in here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ShinkisRule (talk • contribs) 20:32, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
Actually, it's spelled X.A.N.A. (don't ask me what it stands for.) --75.163.175.29 (talk) 04:39, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
- No, it isn't, but that's a common misspelling. Codelyoko.net spells it correctly (most of the time), as does the majority of the fanbase. KremTell me stuff♫Whaaaat I've Doooonne!♪ 03:56, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
- Aaaand the official YouTube channel of Taffy Animation also spells it XANA, so I guess that settles it. I shall fix the article.

Odd Della Robbia & Yumi Ishiyama - article being split into many
editThe page for Odd Della Robbia has been modified so that it no longer points to this page. I have reverted it 3 times, and am leaving it broken. The editor changing it does not understand that the article was merged by consensus with this one, and has reverted it 4 times, having been reverted once by another editor. If anyone is interested, they may wish to restor the redirect.sinneed (talk) 04:06, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
The pages for Odd Della Robbia & Yumi Ishiyama have been modified so that they no longer point to this page. If anyone is interested, they may wish to restore the redirects. The editor has been warned.
The editor's stated plan is to break each character in the series out, undoing the merge of all the articles into one.sinneed (talk) 16:08, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
William Dunbar?

Hiroki
editThere's a link on the page that's supposed to point to a section for Hiroki, but that section doesn't seem to exist. Hiroki doesn't have a spot on Secondary Characters either (or on Monsters, but that wouldn't make much sense). 129.210.232.194 (talk) 15:37, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
Fake names ?
editDo you really have sources about the full name of some characters like Sally McGuire or Sandy Mcdonough ? They seem to be invented, not every character have a name. I have never heard of them in the french version, which is the one i look. Aquatikelfik (talk) 14:23, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
Is this article really nessecary?
editI feel that this article is not necessary and the information provided in this article states things within a fan's perspective. Something other wikis such as this one do. Should this article be deleted? It is not under my power to choose, but I believe this article is somewhat unnecessary. --Michaelzeng7 (talk) 22:10, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
- Most of the minor characters are totally useless, some never speak one word in the full series. I think this article can be shorten by deleting this part. Aquatikelfik (talk) 15:32, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
- I have nominated this article for deletion for its lack of encyclopedic content. If you would like to support or oppose this nomination, please post on the AfD at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Code Lyoko characters, when commenting, it is strongly suggested that you first read WP:DELETE. Merge with Code Lyoko?
editThis page may have been relevant back when it was full of detailed information, but now that it's all so brief, it looks like the information could be moved to the main pages for Code Lyoko and Code Lyoko: Evolution. Take the Ōban Star-Racers page for example: all the characters are listed on the main page with brief descriptions instead of on a separate page like this one. This is the format I've been seeing most often these days. I feel it would keep the information about the show all in one place and users wouldn't need to visit a separate page for a relatively small amount of information.
