Talk:List of Eagle Scouts/to do
Potential entries requiring investigation As entries on this list are verified or unverified, move them to investigated entries and note the reason. (Category:Eagle Scouts (Boy Scouts of America) and Category:Distinguished Eagle Scouts are no longer used, see Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2020 October 30.) Note: The online DESA database has known errors that they were notified of and did not fix, though it is mostly accurate.
Eagle Scouts with problematic articles
- Jon Fulkerson; notability issues, COI editing
To investigate: These men have articles and are probably Eagles:
I investigated these men, and they do not appear in NESA's Online Eagle Directory:
- John Angus Campbell; did NOT appear in NESA Online Eagle Directory in Oregon
- Tom Hucker; did NOT appear in NESA Online Eagle Directory
- J. Willard Marriott; did NOT appear in the NESA Online Eagle Directory; It is unlikely that Bill was an Eagle since the LDS Church did not begin partnering with BSA until 1913 at which time he would already have been a teenager. His son J. W. Marriott, Jr is a DESA.
- Danny Pintauro; needs reliable ref (imdb doesn't cut it); did NOT appear in NESA Online Eagle Directory 10/11/2011
- Charles F. Blair, Jr.; Air Force brigadier general, Navy aviator captain, test pilot, airline pilot, airline owner. Eagle Scout medal is on display at the Foynes Flying Boat Museum.
- Thomas Cech; chemist and Nobel Laureate
These men are Eagles but I have not yet added them to the list:
- Edwin G. Corr; is an Eagle Scout (4/24/1951) in the NESA Online Eagle Directory [1]
- Randy Brush; American Jazz Drummer; is an Eagle Scout (3/22/1972) in the NESA Online Eagle Directory [2]

- Jim Jontz (deceased); is an Eagle Scout (06/12/1965) in the NESA Online Eagle Directory [5]
- Bernard Russell Queneau[1]
- Travis Tope [2]
These men are known Eagle Scouts who probably meet notability standards but do not have articles:
- Ronald Gene Evens; senior executive office of BJC HealthCare and former president of Barnes-Jewish Hospital.[6]
- Capers W. McDonald; Executive in Residence, Johns Hopkins University; former President and CEO of BioReliance Corporation; established McDonald Award for Excellence in Mentoring and Advising.[7]

- These former entries have dead links that cannot be recovered or issues with sources
