Restructuring

In the last two days I have completely overhauled the page to use the style of table used for lists of other senior knights (including KGs and GCBs). I have also changed to listing appointments by monarch rather than by century, again in keeping with the other lists.

Unlike the corresponding page for the Garter, this list did not distinguish the extra knights from the knights brethren. I have used the E designation for all royal members beginning with the Prince Consort, but there could well have been others. This means that the numbering will almost certainly have to be changed at some point.
