  Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. '''[[User:CanonNi]]''' (talk|contribs) 13:17, 7 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

This revision from 4 October 2022 by Nillurcheier introduced an error for Morocco that is still uncorrected today: a 4.1 percentage instead of 2.1. There may have been other leftovers too, but this is what stood out in that currently a 37M for Afg is 2.0% while 36M for Mor is 4.1%. Unfortunately correcting to the earlier 2.1 still leaves a discrepancy, presumably due to updated demographics diverging from what was used to calculate the % column, but at least it'd be much closer and somewhat acceptable. Ah, it's because that 36M should've been 37,930,989 (99% of the total pop of 38,314,130), then the 2.1 makes sense. -- 188.25.167.21 (talk) 16:27, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Change:
|align=left|{{flagg|pspew|al=c|pref=Islam in|Morocco}}
|36,738,229
|36,370,847
|style="background:#228B22; text-align:center;"|99
|align=center|4.1
to
|align=left|{{flagg|pspew|al=c|pref=Islam in|Morocco}}
|36,738,229
|36,370,847
|style="background:#228B22; text-align:center;"|99
|align=center|2.1
Source is the fact that the linked revision has changed the perfectly good (back then) values
|38,314,130 |37,930,989 |99 |2.1
into the nonsensical
|38,314,130 |35,930,989 |95 |4.1
... note that 95% of 38,314,130 is 36,398,423½ so the value 35,930,989 doesn't make any sense, especially with it keeping the final 6 digits. The 95 has been corrected in the 2 years since then, but the 4.1 has not. 188.25.167.21 (talk) 00:57, 11 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

By population choice for the by country table

edit

Can we have a by population choice for the by country table? Eye of Sauron, Annatar (talk) 12:52, 23 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

This article is a good example of how most wikipedians suck with numbers

edit

So, according to that table Indonesia has 242,700,000 muslims who are 11.7% of all muslims and Pakistan has 233,000,000 who are 11.79% of muslims. Total nonsense. This is happening because instead of doing the division ourselves here for the table, wikipedians are taking numbers and percentages from different sources or different years, causing a total nonsense. 12qwas (talk) 15:32, 11 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Japan

edit

You may want to adjust upwards the % of Muslims in Japan as the total population of Japan has fallen by 2 million… — Preceding unsigned comment added by 240F:CA:2CE5:1:9034:BDA9:316C:DAAD (talk) 06:57, 24 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
