MCA crossover artists
editBecause MCA's country music artists are separated from the main MCA Records article, the criteria for MCA's crossover pop and country artists' inclusion for listing in either the main MCA Records article or the MCA Nashville article is whether they actually worked mostly with the Nashville division of either Decca or MCA Records. Brenda Lee worked early on with Owen Bradley at Decca Nashville so she is included here. On the other hand Australian artist Olivia Newton-John seldom recorded in Nashville (save for two albums recorded in 1976 and 1998) so she is listed in the main MCA Records list. I noticed that the list of Mercury Records artists article also includes Mercury Nashville artists. Should there continue to be overlapping Mercury country music artists in both articles? Steelbeard1 (talk) 03:10, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
Formerly on predecessor labels sections
editI don't think Decca, Rising Tide, DreamWorks and Polydor artists as well as other predecessor labels handled by UMG Nashville should be listed here. They should be listed in their respective label articles. Steelbeard1 (talk) 02:47, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
Orphaned references in List of Universal Music Group Nashville artists
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of List of Universal Music Group Nashville artists's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 18:20, 12 April 2017 (UTC)
