Diamond Lake help
editJustAGal fixed two links in the article and mentioned needing help with Diamond Lake with this edit. I looked into it but don't see what needs help. It does look like the Diamond Lake disambiguation page is somewhat clumsy linking to this page (it takes two clicks). Is that the issue? —EncMstr (talk) 19:18, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
- I just fixed it and then saw this note. I think the problem was there is another Diamond Lake in Oregon listed at List of lakes named Diamond that doesn't have an article, and being unfamiliar with our geography, she couldn't be sure if she should disambig it to the current Oregon article or to the as-yet-unwritten one. I took a quick glance at the description of the lake with the link needing disambiguation and concluded it should link to the current Diamond Lake (Oregon) article. I didn't check a map or click on the coords but I don't think the other Diamond Lake in Union County is anywhere near the Umpqua. I hope that helps. Valfontis (talk) 20:05, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
- Yup, Lemolo Lake is just north of the Umpqua Diamond Lake,[1], and the other Diamond Lake is high in the Wallowa Mountains.[2] LittleMountain5 20:53, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
2 fish lakes
editThere are articles for 2 fish lakes, but only one listed:

- Listed where? Finetooth (talk) 02:14, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
- Oh, never mind. Dumb question. I see. I'll fix it. Finetooth (talk) 02:16, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
- Fixed. Finetooth (talk) 02:26, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
- As of August 13th, 2024, there are now three Fish Lakes listed. Only two have article links, but both links are accurate. Is there any need to delete the third, non-linked Fish Lake (Harney County, Oregon), or should it receive its own article? 71.34.104.54 (talk) 01:12, 14 August 2024 (UTC)
