Talk:List of luthiers

Would the authors of this page consider adding luthiers from the United States. I think North Americans have dominated the art of lutherie for many years; particularly the 20th century. Perhaps the problem is that you only consider classical guitar makers that hail mostly from Europe? In any event, I can help out with world-wide modern and 'significant' luthiers specializing in Classical, Steel-String acoustic guitar and electric guitars and basses; many of whom I know personally. I am of the opinion that any discussion about luthiers who have contributed 'immensely' must be balanced. Perhaps we can link to subtopic pages that the reader can click on in the text of this "Luthier" page. I know how intensly Wiki page gatekeepers can be, so this is a simple discussion item and not an aggressive edit of the page. List of modern luthiers

David Folland, Rochester, MN could be considered for addition. Mr. Folland has made violins, violas and cellos that are currently played in most major US orchestras and many international orchestras. 199.48.94.64 (talk) 19:24, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
