minister-president vs prime minister consistency
editwhether German Ministerpräsidenten are called minister-president or prime minister or primier or whatever on the english wiki seems to be rather random - cant wiki be consistent ??? see also: Prime Minister of Lower Saxony

Schäffer's party
editDoes it make sense to say he was CSU? The German Wikipedia article on the CSU says it wasn't founded until October 1945, after Schäffer was gone. What was the precursor in the immediate post-war months? Was the BVP refounded for a while? john k (talk) 17:17, 24 March 2017 (UTC)

Gustav Ritter von Kahr
editWas Kahr truly an independent? Some of the sources are a bit unclear, making it sound like the BVP ran him as a candidate even though he wasnt' a member per se, but quite a few list him as BVP:
Roy G. Koepp (2015) Gustav von Kahr and the Emergence of the Radical Right in Bavaria, The Historian, 77:4, 740-763, DOI: 10.1111/hisn.12076 - on p. 748: "This was a particular concern of the Bavarian People’s Party (BVP), to which Kahr belonged."
History of the CDU lists 4 BVP minister presidents in a row, starting with Kahr
Deutsches Historisches Museum (translated) : After his [Hoffmann's] forced resignation in the course of the Lüttwitz-Kapp putsch in 1920, the BVP provided the new minister president in Gustav Ritter von Kahr.
Bavariathek in a info-box like page shows his party affiliation as BVP
I'm working on an update of the Kahr article and would like to make sure that info across pages is in synch. Does anyone know why he's listed as independent here, or have any good source for it?
