where to list: local vs. national
editThe common cases of parliament/president (national + referendum at this level) and municipalities (local + referendum at this level) elections are clear. Here by "municipalities" I refer to any form of local government/lower level Administrative division.
But it seems we don't have a common position on what to do with parliament/president (+referendum at this level) of dependencies and other special cases (Wales, Hong Kong, individual states like Texas in federal states like USA, etc.).
Recently there was some edit moves swinging in both directions, so I propose that we take a decision - "where to list parliament/president elections of entities that are not sovereign state themselves?" Alinor (talk) 08:11, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
- i think sovereignty is the prerequisite regardless of controversy (ie- Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Transnistria, NKR, and kosovo are sovereign even if disputed and should be the only questiobale cases on national with the lesser sub-soverein here.(Lihaas (talk) 17:14, 27 December 2010 (UTC)).
