Moved to Longshan Temple (Taipei). Since this page move was made by the nominator, it seems a good idea to allow future requested moves at any time if editors want to garner consensus for a different title. Kudos to editors for your suggestions, and Happy Publishing! (nac by page mover) Paine Ellsworth, ed. put'r there 00:35, 15 December 2018 (UTC)
Lungshan Temple of Manka → Mengjia Longshan Temple – More logical pinyin spelling, as we also write Longshan Temple MRT station, Lukang Longshan Temple and Fengshan Longshan Temple. Manka and Lungshan are obsolete transliterations. De wafelenbak (talk) 22:31, 28 November 2018 (UTC) --Relisted. Paine Ellsworth, ed. put'r there 01:47, 7 December 2018 (UTC)
- Neither of these are particularly common names. Longshan Temple (Taipei) is a better target for a global readership and better disambiguates it from the other Longshan Temples. — AjaxSmack 01:11, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
- The official name of the temple is Mengjia Longshan Temple, Mengjia being the old name for Wanhua District, where the temple is located. So that is the name I would prefer. However, we could also call it Taipei Longshan Temple. On the other hand, if we would choose Longshan Temple (Taipei), we should also write Longshan Temple (Lukang) and Longshan Temple (Fengshan). - Check out the entries in the following categories. Wikipedia typically uses parentheticals to disambiguate such structures. See, e.g., here and here. I support moving Longshan Temple articles to match this format. — AjaxSmack 03:39, 11 December 2018 (UTC)

Bangka Lungshan Temple → Longshan Temple (Taipei) – Not sure why the page was moved from Longshan Temple (Taipei), given above discussion and common name. --Another Believer (Talk) 08:09, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
