Aromanians

edit

I think that the term "Macedo-romanians" is not mentioned in the article Aromanians. There is not sufficient evidence that the term existed, and if it existed its use was limited. Aromanians (Vlachoi) lived in several places and not only in the extended region "Macedonia". I think that something must be mentioned in the article "Aromanians" with references. If the references are not sufficient, the term cannot be connected with "Macedonian".Jestmoon(talk) 17:42, 19 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Demonyms in the People section

edit

Someone added the demonym used for everyone residing in the Republic of Macedonia into the "People" section even though this section is about the Macedonian people and not about every ethnic group that happens to be residing in the area (Turks, Serbians, etc). I have reverted the edits as this seemed quite problematic. If demonyms have to be included in the People section, then shouldnt also apply for the demonym Macedonian also used for the people residing in the Greek (and to an extend, in the Bulgarian) parts of the region of Macedonia?--SILENTRESIDENT 06:05, 15 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Macedo-Romanians

edit

I have created a new article about the obsolete terminology related directly to this issue called Macedonians (obsolete terminology). Because it encompasses also the Macedo-Romanians which are singled out as another, separate disambiguation page, I suggest that they be dropped from this disambiguation page here. Moreover, the text here explicitly mentions that the term Macedo-Romanians is about an outdated terminology. Jingiby (talk) 10:00, 13 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
