Machaon is from Tricca (Trica)

edit

I would like to post this to seek for advice before making a change, please refer to below:

  • In the Iliad, it is stated that Machaon is from Tricca and Podalirius Ithome. In Book II,[1]

Those, again, of Tricca and the stony region of Ithome, and they that held Oechalia, the city of Oechalian Eurytus, these were commanded by the two sons of Aesculapius, skilled in the art of healing, Podalirius and Machaon. And with them there came thirty ships.

In the Amazon version that I read, Homer. Iliad. AmazonClassics. p. 845. ISBN 1979739021.

In Tricca, and in rough Ithome dwelt, these Podalirius and Machaon led, two skilful leeches, AEsculapius' sons.

Here on wikipedia, Tricca was linked to ancient Thessaly, while I have no knowledge to confirm/dispute that fact/assertion nor intend to do so, still ancient Thessaly would be a different concept as oppose to [modern] Thessaly. A better approach is to state their country of origin as Tricca and keep the link as is. In Book IV of the Amazon version, it confirms that Machaon is the one from Tricca, by inference, Podalirius from Ithome.

234, In search of brave Machaon; him he found 235, Standing, by buckler'd warriors bold begirt, who follow'd him from Trica's grassy plains.
