[Mara Davis should stay on wikipedia as she is a radio fixture/icon in the Atlanta Georgia radio market. She has won many awards, holds many honors and is highly ranked and respected in the Atlanta radio market.](Lizzab83 (talk) 03:42, 7 August 2008 (UTC))Reply

Removal of speedy deletion template

edit

Since sources have been added to the article, I removed the speedy deletion template. I also cleaned up the language and made it less POV and more encyclopedic (for example, the story about her boss calling her a "diamond in the rough," and details about how her parents were worried about her). Since the job of a radio DJ is pretty much to play music and interview people, I'm dubious about the usefulness of the section listing all the people she's interviewed, but I left it there.
