Fair use rationale for Image:Marcos Tavares (4).JPG
editImage:Marcos Tavares (4).JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Marcos Magno Morales Tavares → Marcos Tavares –There is no need for this Brazilian to have his full name in the title. Other Brazilian footballers with wiki articles all have their title/name shorthened (ex. Ronaldo, Ronaldinho etc.). In addition, the name Marcos Tavares is being used by his current club [1] and also by the UEFA [2]Ratipok (talk) 00:45, 19 July 2012 (UTC)
- uncontroversial meaning support RM, but WP:MOVE per WP:COMMONNAME would be okay too. In ictu oculi (talk) 12:34, 23 July 2012 (UTC)

Alleged U-23 national team caps in 2007
editWebsite marcostavares.si provides information that Tavares played in Brazil U-23 national team in 2007.[3] However RSSSF Brazil website provides all Brazil U-23 lineups from matches and there wasn't Tavares in any squad in 2007[4], which means marcostavares.si provides unreliable information.--Oleola (talk) 14:42, 27 August 2015 (UTC)
- Thats because RSSSF only has records for pan-american games for u23 2007, there are no data for friendly matches 86.58.36.235 (talk) 15:22, 27 August 2015 (UTC)
- They record all friendlies, even unofficial ones with non-national sides like that from December 2007. BTW Brazil U-23 side was formed in 2007 to prepare for 2008 Olympics. Only players born after 1985 were allowed to play at this competition, so there is no need to call-up player born in 1984.--Oleola (talk) 19:56, 27 August 2015 (UTC)
