I've been researching Marie Prevost for a couple of years now, and I'd be curious to know what sources were used on this article. The Dumax and Porter books don't have the information credited to them in this article, and much of the information contradicts that which I have seen in the Foster book. It seems as though information has changed in the article over the years while the sources remained the same. Is the person who submitted most of this information still around? Thanks. Just FYI, the article stated Prevost worked with husband Kenneth Harlan on The Marriage Circle. Harlan was not in The Marriage Circle. I removed that and added The Beautiful and the Damned instead since they did indeed work together in that film. Clockster (talk) 14:29, 10 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
FYI- The Foster book is NOT sourced. I recently finished a novel about Marie, using real historical sources, and most of the items in Foster's book I could NOT corroborate through any newspaper sources OR old movie magazines. I could not find any mention of Warner saying she and Harlan would be marrying on the set of their movie, and I've checked a couple books on Howard Hughes. Marie is never mentioned as one of his affairs. Marie's mother's name was Hughina, and her sister's name was Marjorie. She worked in the business for a while under the name Peg Prevost. miselainis (talk) 19:25, 9 January 2019 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:56A:F86B:5E00:29C0:887F:8B74:7A8C (talk) Reply
Because Lowe's song is fictional. It's based on some old stories he heard and not actual research; the song doesn't even get her name right. Clockster (talk) 14:29, 10 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
