Comment:Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Icons says Flag icons may be relevant in some subject areas, where the subject actually represents that country or nationality – such as military units or national sports teams. Perhaps, Aschbren, I should have phrased the comment on flag icons (in the section above) in some other way. This older version shows that every winner was American, and it's rather a pity that this has been lost. However, "As of 2024, every winner of each of the three events has been American" would need to cite a source. -- Hoary (talk) 09:14, 23 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
