As stated on their webpage (http://www.marshaltoninn.com/history/) "Some may notice that the name of the village (Marshallton) and the name of the restaurant (Marshalton) are spelled differently. During a property transfer, “Marshalton” was misspelled on a deed. The error was never corrected."
I see it is subsequently spelled with two letter "l"s on the historic registry. Poor attention to detail. Luckily, this didn't translate into the food! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.59.134.4 (talk) 13:33, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
