Plot summary

edit

At over 1000 words, the plot summary had been tagged as overlong for nearly six months. I've trimmed it using a version from an older revision [1] which I believe is not only much briefer but much better written, much more what a Wikipedia plot summary should be. --Tony Sidaway 01:39, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

The edited plot summary was inaccurate and contained grammatical and factual errors, which I have corrected. The debate would be, of course, whether the plot summary should be as detailed as some other wiki summaries are or if a more ambiguous summary which does not contain spoilers is more appropriate. No matter which, the summary should not be inaccurate, as the previous version was. TGTommyrocket (talk) 06:56, 27 June 2012 (UTC)TGTommyrocketReply

Arrow Release

edit

I own that too and it's a nice release, but after all it's just one of many. The film has been released on home video/dvd a few dozen times all around the world. The only notable fact about the Arrow release is that it contains the original version as well as the Italian version. Everything else seems more like an advertisement by some officious Arrow-Fanboy (yes, those people can be... ehm... 'pushy'). --79.244.58.127 (talk) 03:42, 30 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Release date

edit

Is this film from 1977 or 1978? The page is currently contradictory. The infobox gives a release date of May 10, 1977. The release section says it's May 10, 1978. It also mentions it was screened at the Cannes market in 1977 (the provided source is a dead link). IMDb mentions multiple screening at festivals in 1977, including Cannes on May 18, 1977. Then Edinburgh (August 27, 1977), Austin (October 27, 1977), and London (November 26, 1977). I doubt all these dates are made up. Bottom line is, it seems to be a 1977 film, so we should find a reliable source confirming it and then move the page to "Martin (1977 film)". Kumagoro-42 (talk) 23:40, 10 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
