editThe definition of EMPI was circular - it was defined in terms of MPI, which itself was undefined. I have added a definition with a citation from healthInformatics.wikispaces.com. Prakash Nadkarni (talk) 02:22, 16 May 2012 (UTC)
Vendor inclusion guidelines
editI added the following text as a hidden comment to the article, to keep the vendor list from being populated with non-notable businesses:
There are many vendors in this space. Please do not add any external links, per WP:EL. If the company has a Wikipedia article, please link to that. If the company has media coverage of its MEPI product line in a reliable source but doesn't have an article yet, please feel free to list the company, and cite the source. If you plan to write an article for any of the unlinked companies, you can wiki-link but it will be red linked until the article is complete. These unofficial guidelines can be discussed on the talk page.
I'm going to start linking to companies that have an article, and removing those that do not have any reliable third party coverage. Please discuss if you disagree with these guidelines. TimTempleton (talk) (cont) 22:03, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
