American?

edit

In what way is he Scottish-American? Having an American stepfather and a Green Card does not make you American. Until information about the American part of his ancestry, or a reference to him taking up American citizenship, is sourced and cited, I'm changing his nationality to Scottish.86.136.31.176 (talk) 12:51, 15 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Agree that he is not American unless he is a naturalized U.S. citizen. His nationality is not Scottish, however, it is British, as
a) Scotland is not an independent country
b) No evidence he is a naturalized U.S. citizen
c) No proof he is from Glasgow or what his real name is. I have scoured www.findmypast.co.uk and can find no record of his birth nor any mention of Peter Nelby Maclaine or Oriole Maclaine or Oriole Caulfield or Marcus Maclaine.
Also -- How could he "take a role" in the film Accident in 1967, when he would have been about seven years old?? Rms125a@hotmail.com (talk) 20:41, 24 June 2011 (UTC

Don't give us that Englander's crap that Scotland is not an "independent" country. If you were born in Scotland then you are Scottish. And when you assholes stop calling yourselves English, we'll stop calling ourselves Scottish.

Real name

Maxwell Caulfield's birth name was Maxwell Connell and was educated at St Paul's School, Barnes. He changed his surname because he fell out with his father. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.127.119.158 (talk) 13:56, 4 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Removal of Additional Sources template?

edit

Looking through the article, I see no requests for citations or verifications. I added a citation for the most contentions claim (that of an 'exotic dancer' to earn his equity card).

Is there any reason to continue with the source-request header? CMacMillan (talk) 22:40, 26 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Good call, and thanks for adding the extra citation. I just had a look and removed it. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 01:07, 27 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
