"Dumornay" or "Dumonay"?
edit"Dumornay" is the spelling that she uses on her own Instagram account (instagram.com/dumornaymelchie) and is used in a lot of Haitian media, so I would guess "Dumornay" is right. The spelling without "r" might be a mistake in a FIFA list from the current 2020 championship.

Melchie Dumonay → Melchie Dumornay – See above: "Dumornay" with "r" seems to be the spelling that she uses herself.

Earwig shows no problems.
- File:Melchie Dumornay.jpg is tagged as the work of the uploader, and was uploaded in February 2023, but this page has the same image and dates from 2022. I've nominated it for deletion on Commons; it should be removed from this article in the meantime.
- What makes the following reliable sources?
- stuff.co.nz
- piedscarresfem.fr
- The international goals section is unsourced.
Spotchecks:
- FN 19 cites "On 29 January 2020, Dumornay made her debut with the Haitian senior national team, starting and playing full 90 minutes in a 4–0 Olympic qualifier loss against the United States." The source mentions the game but not Dumornay.
- FN 10 cites "One week later, on 9 October, she made her first start against Bordeaux, scoring a brace and serving an assist in a 5–2 victory." The score is not given in the source.
- FN 10 cites "However, neither of the two clubs were able to sign the player, both because of her underage status at the time and the effects of the Haitian crisis." The source doesn't mention the Haitian crisis.
I'm going to fail this, primarily because of the spotchecks -- all three have something that was not verified, and I would recommend checking that all the citations support the text they cite before renominating. There are also some problems with the prose and some typos; I would also recommend a copyedit before renominating. For example, "Considered as one of the", "Around the same period of time", "was awarded as", "was awarded wit the". The article is very short indeed -- are there no interviews with her that could be used to add a few more details? Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 20:38, 28 April 2023 (UTC)
