unattributed verbatim copying from published author
editSignificant portions of this article are copied verbatim from A MANUAL OF GREEK LITERATURE by Charles Anthon. I may have overlooked attribution, but if it's there, I didn't see it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.227.219.189 (talk) 17:40, 24 October 2013 (UTC) Well, now I see that the same text is found in Smith's Dictionary, which is cited. Looks like whatever copying was done happened long before the existence of Wikipedia. In any event, it looks like the Wikipedia editor of the present article is in the clear! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.227.219.189 (talk) 17:46, 24 October 2013 (UTC)
