"The CLK 430, although not branded as such, is in fact also an AMG model."
What is the basis of this statement? Is this simply based on the use of AMG bodystyling, or are there AMG drivetrain parts used but are not branded as such? I have never seen the CLK 430 mentioned as part of any AMG lineup, which with few exceptions, always includes an AMG engine assembled in Affalterbach.Renn208 04:49, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
The CLK 430 is not an AMG model, although it can be selected with the AMG body package and rims. However, it will not have the AMG engine, exhaust system, powertrain, or brake package the CLK55 comes with. It will also not say AMG on the back of the car, steering wheel, speedo, rotors, caliper, engine bay, duel exhaust tips, etc.
The CLK 55 AMG was not available as convertible. Who writes this stuff? The one on the picture only has AMG written on it. The exhaust can be bought for about 300 Euros. Andiloew (talk) 12:48, 10 July 2008 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: page moved per request. - GTBacchus(talk) 08:09, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
Mercedes-Benz W208 → Mercedes-Benz C208 — "W208" would refer to the (non-existent) sedan version of the 208-series. "C208" denotes the coupe, and "A208" the convertible. Because there is no sedan (W208), and the coupe version is the most common variant, "C209" is the most suitable title. OSX (talk • contributions) 06:12, 16 December 2010 (UTC)
- Support, silly to call it W208 if there is no W208.--Kotniski (talk) 08:11, 24 December 2010 (UTC)
- Comment - There's already an article at the proposed target location. Should this perhaps be a merge request rather than a move request? If the move is to be carried out, then what should we do with the article that is currently at Mercedes-Benz C208? -GTBacchus(talk) 23:13, 28 December 2010 (UTC)
- I have merged the contents here and redirected the C208 page. The page move can still go ahead. OSX (talk • contributions) 01:07, 29 December 2010 (UTC)
