editThis is a new page. The motorsport section on Mercedes-Benz needed expanding, but that wasn't really an appropriate place.Spute 20:38, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
Is there no such thing as generally accepted facts? Someone seems to demand references for everything in this article (that MB withdrew from racing after the 1955 disaster, that Neubauer was called the Rennleitner etc etc). It makes for tedious reading and doesn't really add anything. Why not put a reference that MB raced at all? Gives a little bit of a recent undergrad impression...129.178.88.76 13:25, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed. I've removed several of the {{Fact}}s. DH85868993 01:58, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
Importance rating
editBumped up a notch from high to top: Merc more or less dominated as constructors for two years in the mid 1950s, but that was before the constructors' championship was initiated in 1958. Arguably they deserve the higher rating. They have also acted as engine supplier for one further constructors' championship in 1998. 4u1e (talk) 16:42, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Force India, Brawn (including the possible buying into) and maybe even Red Bull for 2010
editNobody has mentioned their extension to supplying other teams in F1 with engines...--Amedeofelix (talk) 21:14, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
