Further Information

Elcar Motor Company of Elkhart Indians was the company that tried to revive the Mercer brand in 1931 http://www.uniquecarsandparts.com.au/lost_marques_mercer.php

I just thought it might be of interest and I am leaving it for the original author to review and revise their article if they would like to add the information.

Why do Stutz Bearcat and Mercer Raceabout look the same?

edit

Why does the Stutz Bearcat look like the Mercer type 35 Raceabout? Did Stutz steal the design? Was there automotive copyright back then? 50.202.81.2 (talk) 07:41, 9 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
