I can't find any evidence that Terence Rattigan taught Classics at the school, and looking at Rattigan's life history it looks most unlikely. Unless somebody can provide some extra backup for this, I suggest that this line is removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.212.29.92 (talk) 11:28, 6 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

The reference to the new headmaster links to David Cook, the Christian country singer/comedian. Are these men one and the same or do we need a disambiguation page? (Or possibly just unlinking the name, if he's not of encyclopaedic note) Motz 22:10, 14 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Yes he is the same person so you can go ahead and put in the link. Thanks a lot —This unsigned comment was added by 194.83.252.163 (talkcontribs) .

Paul Dalglish, prof footballer and son of Kenny Dalglish attended this school so should be added to the list of alumni.

Fair use rationale for Image:Merchts.gif

edit

Image:Merchts.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Can anyone verify the date that HM Luft left the school? The article says 1970, but his successor didn't start until 1979 and I know Luft was still there in 1972, so I'm suspecting a typo TriumFant (talk) 22:11, 4 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

HM Luft retired in April 1979, I still have the yearbooks from my time there from 74-81, I knew they'd come in handy one day. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.186.17.205 (talk) 13:35, 1 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
