Modern Times Group Do you know the name? 83.142.1.165 (talk) 15:40, 15 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Why is TV3 etc. listed as "Free television" when you must pay to gain access to them?

This is the way MTG lists their channels. The "free-to-air" channels are those that are mostly funded by advertising, while the pay channels mostly rely on subscribtion fees. I've edited the article to clarify this. Väsk 18:45, 28 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Timeline

Should we convert the timeline from a list to a prose section called history? RJFJR (talk) 15:19, 8 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

LNT

edit

The deal hasn't gone through yet. Citing the MTG press release "European broadcast giant Modern Times Group (MTG) has agreed the purchase of Latvian free-TV operator LNT, subject to approval by the country’s competition authorities." The respective authority is the Council of Competition [1] which has four months to decide, whether they are letting through the purchase. Gragox (talk) 15:50, 16 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
