Mixtape vs. Album
editIn ictu oculi, may I ask why you changed the to album? It's marketed as a mixtape and is labeled as such by the sources listed on the article. Commercial mixtapes are a thing and this was one of them, so I'm not sure how it being commercially released changes the fact that it's a mixtape. DanielleTH (Say hi!) 03:42, 22 May 2019 (UTC)
- Because it's a subcategory of album and there are other albums of this name. Per previous (mixtape) RMs. In ictu oculi (talk) 09:27, 22 May 2019 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: moved. There is consensus that the proposed name is in line with the WP:ALBUMDAB guideline. (non-admin closure) — Newslinger talk 06:24, 12 September 2019 (UTC)
Mono (RM album) → Mono (mixtape) – Per WP:ALBUMDAB: Use "(mixtape)" for mixtapes. According to third party reliable sources such as Billboard, The Korea Herald, United Press International, and Vulture, this is a mixtape. If there is a notable mixtape with the same title by another artist, Mono (RM mixtape) is fine with me. 221.187.107.208 (talk) 20:48, 26 August 2019 (UTC)

- Oppose there are 2 albums and mixtape is therefore not sufficient. ALBUMDAB has not been the subject of consensus discussion. And does not override other rules. In ictu oculi (talk) 08:29, 27 August 2019 (UTC)
- Fun fact #1. This writing was posted by an user years ago. It had no consensus and you abused it for moving pages to your preferred style regardless if disambiguation was required or not solely because the writing was ambiguous, you, of course, had no problem with it.
- Fun fact #2. The current writing of WP:ALBUMDAB was built and rewritten with consensus, based upon the decisions of multiple RMs and RFC. Despite being built with consensus, as it prevents you from doing what you used to do, now you consider it "illegal". © Tbhotch™ (en-2.5). 19:15, 27 August 2019 (UTC)
- Support, per nom. If sources call it a mixtape and not an album, it should be labeled as such. © Tbhotch™ (en-2.5). 19:15, 27 August 2019 (UTC)
- Support I also agree with it being renamed as a mixtape as per the evidence provided to support such. I'm surprised that this is even being contested tbh. There was literally only one user in the first discussion, so how the conclusion that a consensus was reached is beyond me. -- Carlobunnie (talk) 19:44, 27 August 2019 (UTC)
- Support as per everyone above as well as sources presented. –Dave | Davey2010Talk 22:44, 27 August 2019 (UTC)
- Support per naming convention and sources provided. Personal dislike of community accepted guidelines should have no bearing on these discussions; if you don't like it, start an RfC. PC78 (talk) 22:26, 7 September 2019 (UTC)
