DVD "Popstars - The Making of Monrose"
editHere is a cover of the upcoming DVD of Popstars 2006 and the fifth season's highlights. Maybe one should add this information. Not sure wheter it is important enough. -- 84.61.10.181
Age differences
editBahar and Mandy are in their teens (they go to high school) while Senna is almost thirty. Maybe this should be added. There is a bit of controversy over the compatibility of the girls because of this.
- To be honest, I don't think the fact that some people don't like the age difference is really important for an encyclopaedia. --hangy 12:38, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
Mandy is 16, Bahar 18 and Senna will be 27 at the end of December (I don't think that is considered "almost thirty")
mymonrose.de
editFirstly, you say that the page's an official fan-homepage. However, I can't really find a source which proves that. Additionally, it's full of advertisements and after all, it's "just" a kind of blog. Because of that, I think it doesn't really fulfil the requirements for good external links according to the Wikipedia standard. --hangy 12:38, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
Meaning of "Monrose" ?
editIs it the french for "My Rose" or "my Pink" ? Or something else ? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Maschine (talk • contribs) 12:22, 6 December 2006 (UTC).
- AFAIK, the correct expression for "my rose" would be "ma rose". However, there doesn't seem to be a real translation for the term "Monrose". It's said to have something to do with Marilyn Monroe, though. (Because of the sound ...) --hangy 14:17, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- I think it's a portmanteau: It sounds like Monroes as a hint to Marylin Monroe and it contains the word rose which sounds noble. If you try to find a French meaning. Rose as a noun is feminine (Marose) but the colour pink (french le rose) is masculine so "My Pink" means "mon rose" or written in one word Monrose. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by -- 84.61.33.133 21:40, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
Second Single
editIts been confirmed that the second single will be Push Up On Me and not Im Gonna Freak Ya, can somebody please change this? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Misteeqfan3 (talk • contribs) 13:44, 8 January 2007 (UTC).
THe Selling...
editNumbers are flase, it is February now and Temptation has sold over 600.000 copies worldwide now
Wunder gibt es immer wieder
editYou can download Monrose's version of the song at AOL music store online. Why not put the funny cover of it into the text? Highlights of their carreer should be highlighted by pictures. :D :D Take a look at the cover here: http://cover.m2y.siemens.ch/cover/85365987852.jpg And no, it's not fake!
Official polish site
editI think this should be in 'External links'- http://www.monrose.pl/
Pictures
editThere are several pictures that are more recent than the one in the infobox. For exampe:
- Ed Hardy Shoot (© 2007 Ed Hardy)
- Venus Gillette Shoot (P&G Press photos “© 2007 Procter & Gamble”)
- Group shot (© dpa 2007)
- FHM February 2007 Cover with Monrose (© Joerg Steffens - FHM Februar 2007 - Cultfish-Media)
- New Photo Shoot (© 2007 SevenOne Intermedia GmbH)
Would somebody upload one/some of them so e.g. the FHM cover can be included into the text or the infobox?
charts
editThe chart position given here is wrong. Hot summer is not 45 in the eurochart, but number 6. Proof- http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/charts/chart_display.jsp?g=Singles&f=European+Hot+100+Singles
- I don't know why but Billboard has different chart rules - obviously (check sources under "Hot Summer (song)") ... - Noboyo
3rd Album I Am
editThe 3rd Album is moved to be released in September as you can see if you click your reference who's setting. Some proofs: http://www.weltbild.de/i-am-monrose/index.html?b=853182 http://www.citydisc.ch/music/detail.cfm?lang=d§ion=&art_nr=9492999 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Noble Monrose (talk • contribs) 14:18, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
