Age at death
editHis trainer said he was 16 and a half when he died meaning he would have been born on Dec 24 1989, not 1990.
Actually, Moose's "autobiography" reveales he was born in 1990:
"I was born on a freezing cold, rainy night, which was peculiarly strange for Florida. The town: Weirsdale. The year: 1990."
So either this is a year out or his trainer was a year out. I'm not quite sure which. You'd think his trainer would be right, but then again they did a lot of research for the book so perhaps Mathild said 16.5 instead of 15.5 by mistake.
Perhaps this dispute should be mentioned in the article?
- Well, it does say that DeCagny received Moose when he was already 2⅓, not having presenced his birth and not being the original owner might have led her to confusion? R.I.P. Moose, I could have learned a lot from him. Oleksandr 13:09, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
Not In "The Mask"
editThis erroneous info seems to have put on a few sites, along with this one, sometime after his death. Moose did not play Milo in "The Mask". That dog's name is (was?) Max. Check out this DVD Cover on Amazon. There is also this list of the caston allmovie.com. Steve--63.215.27.57 03:26, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
Pop Culture
editMoose (usually known as "Eddie" or "the Dog from Frasier) is probably one of the more famous, non-starring (eg. Lassie) dogs in showbusiness. He's had quite a few references that I've noticed throughout many different shows and a few other media. Since it's so unusual, it should probably be added his pop-cultural impact having spread beyond Frasier.
One that comes to mind right away is in an episode of the Simpsons with Mel Gibson, during a tour, they passed by a house "owned by the Dog from Fraiser".
- add any more if you can think of any! If I had more time right now, I could probably actually remember them.-70.74.122.87 23:34, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
Retirement age?
editDid he retire six and a half years before death or one year before death? Hijiri 88 (聖やや) 13:08, 8 March 2015 (UTC)
