edit- Bobbie Kalman, author of more than 800 children's books, born here
800 children's books and we have no article!
- VIAF: Marie Valerie Kalman, b. 1947
- LCCN cites US copyright file: Marie (Bobbie) Kalman; Kalman, Marie, 1947-
- GND suggests, but no more, that none of her books have been translated into German. (They may be picture books that don't translate routinely.) "Marie Kalman" is another person there.
- Bobbie Kalman at Library of Congress, with 710 library catalog records
There 1985 is her earliest publication year, 13 records/ 12 titles. Having checked four I guess all picture books from Toronto & New York: Crabtree Pub Co.; seven 32pp self-illustrated; five 56pp "We celebrate" with other illustrators.
