I've played a different type og game while at baseball games, but I cannot remember the exact rules. Something like: Each person holds the cup while an offensive player is at the plate. If he makes it on base, you pull a quarter for each base. If you are holding the cup while the opposing team as at bat, you pay a quarter for each base. The cup passes at each player to come to bat. If anyone has heard of this game and can remember more of the rules, please post. We're going on Friday!

I think the game you're discussing is a variation of Loonies. I've gotten the impression that it is Canadian in origin. In Loonies each player puts $1 into the hat and then holds the hat for each batter. You pull out $1 for a single, $2 for a double, $3 for a triple, and the whole kitty for a HR.Dubfiend (talk) 03:34, 20 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Anyone have any references or sources to back up Frank Bonelli's claim to invent this game? I would propose to take it out. None of the other material is controversial as unsourced, but my gut tells me this game was invented at Wrigley field. Side betting games are definitely most popular in the Wrigley bleachers. I've been to hundreds of games in New York and find Moundball to be fairly uncommon there.
