MunafiqunMunafiq – Google scholar has 400 more returns for munafiq than munafiqun: (see munafiq , munafiqun. Furthermore, there is precedence to use singular terms over plural terms on Islamic academic terms, see for example fajir, fasiq etc. Finally, munafiqun uses an Arabic suffix, i.e. "-un", even though Wikipedia encourages us to use English language rather than a foreign langaueg. This precedence has been applied to other Islamic legal terms as well. 88.104.44.78 (talk) 17:31, 5 July 2019 (UTC) --Relisting. — Newslinger talk 23:01, 13 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

How is this hypocrisy?

edit

If a person does not conform to the religious beliefs or practices but still want to stay respectful to parent's culture or community; how is that a hypocrisy? I guess hypocrisy is mistranslated here. 2405:204:4313:D858:A555:EC98:4F61:CB30 (talk) 16:06, 24 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

I don't agree with deleting section: "Traits of the Munafiq according to Quran and Hadith". Prophet Muhammad's (Allah's Blessings and Peace be Upon Him) words (hadiths) have concern and love for every single human. We need his advice in our daily issues. "There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves. Grievous to him is what you suffer; [he is] concerned over you..." (Quran 9:128). This concern is shown in every single word he spoke. Without his loving words, we cannot succeed. I was sad to see this section deleted when I needed it for a project and it was not there. Anyone who doesn't want to read it can just skip over this section.
I hope you understand and we can, going forward, improve Wikipedia together as a community,
Jamaal
