Photographer?
editWe read:
- Baroness Wharton was a photographer
Of what? As published where? -- Hoary (talk) 15:49, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

Thanks. Copac says that she's one of three photographers of that one book. I get the impression that she was a keen and unusually good amateur photographer but not one of particular note. (NB I've nothing against amateur photographers, or even rather obscure ones; I thus created for example Akira Toriyama (ophthalmologist).) I'd be delighted to be proved wrong; but if I'm not proved wrong, I think the "photographer" categorization should go. -- Hoary (talk) 23:34, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
- I have not found anything else and accept much of what you say. The other point of view would be that she is listed as a photographer at photog obits and it is shown as her career in the Independent and The Guardian, thereby meeting verifiability and multiple independant reliable sources. - To me, those two obituaries serve to show that she was a keen amateur photographer to the point where this merits a mention in her article here, but not to the point where she should be listed in WP as a photographer. However, even if I'm entirely right the sky's not going to fall if she's listed for a few weeks. Let's first take a few days, or even longer, to see any evidence that she's produced anything else. -- Hoary (talk) 01:24, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
