Joke?
editIs the line: Burck attended Our Lady of the Rosary elementary school in Greenhills, Ohio. a joke? Can someone verify? Ask him maybe? -Haon 02:54, 16 October 2005 (UTC)
- this may be true I went to middle school and high school with him in greenhills.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.27.191.125 (talk) 03:19, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

Untitled
editThe article states that he was born in 1977, however the interview "The Naked Truth" at www.littleviews.com states his age as 34. This is a little problematic isn't it?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.204.249.167 (talk) 05:31, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
Ajflack
editAjflack (talk · contribs), as has been said on messages on your talk page, please stop removing all the wikilinks, external links, and links to articles in other languages in your edits; this is not appropriate. Please see the links on your talk page, and if you have questions, ask. -- Infrogmation (talk) 04:43, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
Beggar?
editI don't think the Naked Cowboy is a beggar. The Wikipedia definition linked to in the article says that begging is "asking for money in a supplicating way." This guy doesn't supplicate. He's a busker, a street performer with an original shtick, who writes his own material, and he's worked his way up to getting on TV and becoming a Z-list celebrity. Beggars don't show this kind of determination. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.33.158.121 (talk) 14:22, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
Reverts
editHey, why were my edits reverted? I felt I really cleaned it up without getting rid of too much information. 66.71.70.66 (talk) 22:18, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
You may refuse to recognize any distinction between busking and panhandling, but the existance of seperate articles indicates that other find the distinction useful. -- Infrogmation (talk) 22:05, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
OK well I don't want to take sides in that debate...I'm no expert in that. But next time, could you only edit the offending parts, and not the whole article which I took a lot of time reorganizing and cleaning up? 66.71.70.66 (talk) 04:30, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
i really want to meet this guy, im coming to new york in a year or so. that will be my greatest achievement of all times to meet this person.--116.73.130.81 (talk) 13:04, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
Christian Minister
editNo where in sources 1 or 2 did it say that The Naked Cowboy is a Christian minister so I took that part out. Please find cited sources before putting that back in. Source 3 says nothing about him becoming an ordained minister either, so I took that out as well. Kgromann (talk) 15:47, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
Confusion between "Franchise", "Endorsement" & "Licensing"
editMy name is Todd Rubenstein. I am the Executive Director of Naked Cowboy Enterprises. Call 866-99-NAKED and follow the prompts to licensing and you'll get me. I am the person who has handled all of Robert Burck business and legal matters since 2007. I have made corrections here and they have been removed or I should say: "In-Corrected".
I am not very familiar with Wiki, so I am posting this here in hopes that someone would refer to me when reverting my changes on this site. Sometimes the references that are used are not correct.
I wrote the cease and desist sent to Sandy Kane, so I am aware of what it was and what it included. I am also aware of the fact that there were two cease & desist letters sent to Sandy Kane (whose real name is Sandy Brodsky).
Regardless, after the changes that I made to the "Naked Cowgirl" were reverted somewhat and diminished to useless information, I noticed an addition of a section entitled "Franchises". Under this section it referred to our Franchise Agreements, then proclaimed that our "Licensing/Endorsement" deal with Blue Island Shellfish Farms was a "Franchise".
This is absurd and severely incorrect. Franchise Agreements, Endorsements and Licensing deals are all VERY different authorizations and business agreements.
I believe there should be a section provided here called "Endorsements" and a section here called "Licensing". The following are contracted and active Endorsement and Licensing deals.
Current Naked Cowboy Endorsements are:
- Naked Cowboy Oysters
- Hudson Hair
- Joseph Abboud
- Anothony Ruiz Photography
- Kaufman Furs
- ConstantLink.com
- The Times Square Visitors Center
- Icon Parking
- Tour Supply
- Parrillo Performance
Current Naked Cowboy Licensing Deals are:
- Blue Island Shellfish Farms
- Volkswagen
- Vodafone
- Nautica
- Pepsi
- Chevrolet
- Activision
- Brentwood Licensing
- Event Network
- Naked Beef
- Nickalodeon
- NY Popular

What's up with "NYC" at the end of the page's link?

editRemind me to never hire that agent. He didn't see fit to put up the IMDB data.

Trump endorsement
editHow come this doesn't mention anything about his endorsement of Trump & his comments on his wife's immigration status? http://uk.businessinsider.com/naked-cowboy-donald-trump-wife-immigration-2016-12 ωεαşεζǫįδ 23:10, 5 September 2017 (UTC)

Soft Core Pornographic Career
editBefore finding notability as the "Cowboy", Burck did soft core porn. This included an appearance in the video "Wide Nude World of Sports" (marketed to queer men) (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9159760/?ref_=nm_flmg_c_42_slf) and a full pictoral in Playgirl magazine (https://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/real-life/the-birth-of-the-naked-cowboy-it-all-began-with-a-playgirl-shoot/news-story/32203960c6dc9e91559275eb06654d34). It's weird to see this totally omitted from his bio, but I'm not sure which links are acceptable enough to utilize for adding into the article. CouplandForever (talk) 03:04, 21 November 2023 (UTC)
