Is NKP exclusively a Thai Navy facility now?

This would be a higher class if it was cited WP:CITE. Buckshot06 03:55, 10 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Portion of article pertaining to Raven forward air controllers needs amendment. There were never more than 22 Ravens deployed in Laos at one time, and usually considerably fewer. Also, Ravens came into their program in a number of ways, not just through NKP. Detachment 1 of 56th SOW at Udorn was the most usual support unit for the Ravens. "The Ravens" by Christopher Robbins would clarify this. I know; I was there. ````George J. Dorner```` —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.103.187.240 (talk) 00:44, 17 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Task Force Alpha (PACAF) has a link to a British Military Unit.

I was in the 6908, a unit with an operation area within TFA. There is no Wiki info on this unit, but I was in it 1971-1972. The 6908th was part of what was then known as USAF Security Service, and it in turn was affiliated with 6990th Okinawa, 6994th, and several units in South Vietnam (Cam Ranh Bay, Da Nang, Saigon).

An operational neighbor included in TFA was Igloo White, referenced as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Igloo_White

I would suggest modifying the TFA link and point it to Igloo White instead. I am new to this so I would rather be in contact with other authors first. Dr. Mike Olson (talk) 03:50, 19 April 2016 (UTC)Dr. Mike OlsonReply

Hello Dr. Mike Olson, welcome to Wikipedia! For now I modified the links so that they stop pointing to the wrong Task Force Alpha. I guess the main question regarding pointing the links to Igloo White would be: did Task Force Alpha participate in other operations besides Igloo White? It doesn't seem like they did; if that's the case then I think linking to Igloo White would be a good idea. Howicus (Did I mess up?) 03:59, 19 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
