I note the way that top-up results are presented as "additional member system" results. I believe constituency (first past the post) results are integral to the over-all result, and it is that over-all result which is the product or result of the additional member system. Sorry. I have just had another look at "Highlands and Islands (Scottish Parliament region)". Perhaps the difference is not so great as I had imagined, or think it shoud be. But "Scottish Parliament election, 2003" does look a bit clearer, in use of terminology, than "Welsh Assembly election, 2003". Laurel Bush 10:30, 1 November 2006 (UTC).Reply
