  • Mention common names in the lead.
    • In this case, I'd prefer not, since both are exceedingly obscure, as they have been mentioned only once in the literature. Garbutt (2007), for example, doesn't give a common name for this species, though he does for others.
      • Okay! My bad, actually, for not noticing that :)
  • Can Eptesicus malagasyensis be considered a synonym, or is that only the IUCN Red lists classification?
    • It's only the Red List (based on the upcoming Mammals of Africa volume, apparently), but nevertheless a synonym. Added.
      • Check.
