The common name for this locality should be forwarded to a discussion, and not just changed arbitrarily as it was changed.--Atdheu (talk) 02:32, 17 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Cut & paste moves are a Bad Thing, and a change of name is obviously not without controversy. If anybody would like to move this page, I recommend discussing it first. bobrayner (talk) 02:43, 1 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Nerodimë e PoshtmeDonje Nerodimlje – Based on the WP:COMMONNAME, I propose this be moved to "Donje Nerodimlje". Google books search shows 84 hits for "Donje Nerodimlje"[1], 17 hits for "Nerodime e Poshtme"[2], and only one hit for "Nerodimë e Poshtme"[3], even that one being in Albanian language. How is it useless when the result clearly shows the term Nerodime e Poshtme used in within litreture? I thought the aim here was to show its usage, not omit actual uses of the toponym in that form and not skew something toward a result that does not take in the whole context. wp:google points out problems with searches either way and it does not always have to have one done with "", it is only preferable to do it that way if there are many other terms that are the same. As far as one can see there is only Nerodime e Poshtme and no other.Resnjari (talk) 23:02, 11 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Resnjari: First of all, the Google Books search performed without quotation marks (like you did) returns 93 hits ([7]), and not 165 as you claim. Secondly, it contains many results that do not mention this village at all, you can check it yourself. Vanjagenije (talk) 23:30, 11 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
Ok so you went to the end of the search results and it gave a different result. Even in the revised example Nerodime e Poshtme still is 93 hits to Donje Nerodimlje at 84 hits. Anyway my point exactly then about the search results giving off different numbers (or none at all) with or without quotation marks (""). In the end how many texts etc are using either form? Google Ngram also was disappointing in this regard with either the Serb or the Albanian form as to which toponym form is becoming more common. It gave no results and you can try it yourself.Resnjari (talk) 23:40, 11 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
