It appears that the name "Newbern-Dyersburg" is very rarely used for this station. The situation is similar to Selma–Smithfield (Amtrak station), which was retitled Selma Union Depot. This station serves Newbern and Dyersburg, but that doesn't seem to be its name. Today, the station seems to be chiefly known as simply "Newbern Depot" (or sometimes Newbern Depot & Railroad Museum, as there's a museum in the building). While "Newbern, TN" is what Amtrak uses, the common name of "Newbern Depot" is borne out by Great American Stations[1], the organizers of the local celebration called Newbern "Depot Days",[2] the local media,[3][4][5][6] and a number of websites.[7][8] The National Register of Historic Places listed the building under "Newbern Illinois Central Depot", but the documents note that its "other name" is "Newbern Depot". It sounds like this is the common name, so I plan to move it when I get a chance.--Cúchullain t/c 19:37, 21 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
