Spelling discussion
editIP editor 49.179.0.55 has been changing the spelling in 3 articles from Ngiyampaa to Ngiyambaa. We don't seem to have consistency on this one, but the standard practice for some time now has been to change spellings and move articles to accord with the AIATSIS spelling, in this case here. I am going to leave this discussion to those who know more about the topic than I do, in case there is good reason for straying from the practice in this case, and I won't be moving the article as I usually would, until consensus is reached. - We stick to the AIATSIS spellings, and any edit uncritically changing that officially endorsed terminology should be reverted on sight. I can't do the necessary title shift being a technical numbskull or more euphemistically, digitally inept dickhead. This doesn't need a wiki consensus, because we follow the official consensus.Cheers Nishidani (talk) 07:04, 15 February 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks Nishidani. I have now moved it. (For simple moves, just click on Move on the drop-down menu from Page at the top of the article. Sometimes it doesn't allow you and then there is another place to go to request a technical move, if a move discussion is not needed.) Laterthanyouthink (talk) 04:20, 16 February 2024 (UTC)
