How can this work?
editHow exactly can this Battlegroup work? I mean its got Norway, a country that isn't even in the European Union, yet is apparently part of the EU Battlegroup structure. And then we have Sweden, a Neutral country who is not supposed to become involved in military alliances. I really wonder what kind of legalities would be involved if this Battlegroup were actually called on to go to war. --Hibernian 18:21, 6 January 2007 (UTC) Ireland is also a neutral country
No real problem, Norway was invited by the EU to participate and accepted. Sweden is no longer even officially a neutral country, albeit still officially alliance free. There are however no legalities involved here as that is merely a political statement and not a legally binding one. MicaelJ 22:05, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

Map
editAnyone else think the map is a bit wonky? If the focus is on Nordic countries, why does the map include all of America with the highlighted countries off on the far right? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Slacky (talk • contribs) 19:17, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
Raised vs Trained
editIt's more appropriate to use the term "raised" rather than "trained" when referring to new units since it is implied that training is constant. --Edward Sandstig 09:15, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
OOB
editCan someone find an OOB for the battlegroup? The Swedish wiki seems to have a one. Could someone translate that? 88.114.76.25 19:12, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
THE MAN ON THE PICTURE
editIt is not the Swedish Battalion Commander. The man on the picture is a Major, the Battalion commander is a LtCol, and does not look anything like him. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Naroz (talk • contribs) 11:39, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
The 41. Rapid Reaction Battalion link
editThe link redirects you to teh 41. School Battalion(consisting of conscript soldiers) at P4 not the actual 41. Rapid Reaction Battalion(that consists of professional soldiers). The 41. RRBn Should have its own page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Naroz (talk • contribs) 11:47, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
Lion's penis removed from coat of arms
editAccording to this report the battlegroup's coat of arms has been changed due to objections from "a group of women." The designer of the original emblem objects:
"The army lacks knowledge about heraldry. Once upon a time coats of arms containing lions without genitalia were given to those who betrayed the Crown," said Sagerlund.

The Penis on the Lion on the coat of arms was removed; I added a little something about it. Here is my reference, I don't know how to add it to the page properly: http://www.thelocal.se/10064/. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Heatsketch (talk • contribs) 21:50, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- That's no reason to remove it... Sexual equality? Men are supposed to have their cocks cut off now? --Kurtle (talk) 17:45, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
