• Oppose per my reason at Talk:Asaba, Delta#Requested move 4 December 2021, short form doesn't seem ambiguous. There are several other places so a DAB should probably be created at Okuta or this one moved there is the others are NN or this is primary. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:21, 12 December 2021 (UTC)

Crouch, Swale In Nigeria, short forms are not used for states.

@Crouch, Swale: That's because you are not a Nigerian. Honestly, most Nigerian states look ambiguous without the 'state' added because majority of these states were named after right or cities.

In official documents, newspapers or at the media, that's how they are referred to.

I am not really surprised that some editors like you do oppose these moves due to most commentators on these RMs I nominated being non-Nigerians with a neutral point of view.
