Oladapo Afolayan → Dapo Afolayan – Pretty much everything calls him Dapo Afolayan rather than his full name. although bolton's website [1] does list him with his full name in the squad list, the match from today where he scored says dapo. the bbc match report also says Dapo Afolayan, as does the sky sports match report, the bolton news match report, manchester evening news match report and these are just from today. the player himself calls himself dapo afolayan on both instagram and twitter. interestingly, both the fifa and football manager video games call him dapo afolayan. this also isnt a recent thing or anything, basically his entire career he's gone by dapo afolayan which is probably why there's already a redirect. you could maybe see it unessesary when there's a redirect but then, its not like hes the only player on wikipedia who would be going by a shorter name than his name you have Shola Ameobi instead of Foluwashola Ameobi. - Support - both names seem to be used by media, but given that he is 'Dapo' on Twitter, I say we go with that. GiantSnowman 18:36, 17 September 2022 (UTC)
