Merger proposal

edit

Yes, these should be merged as duplicates with much overlapping text. —Michael Z. 15:08, 3 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

  • I created this page as it was required by the #UCDMonth as one of their suggested articles. The other article has the incorrect name and is lacking many citations and in need of a clean up so I would vote to delete the other page if possible, or to merge the two as you suggest, however I am unsure as to what else could be merged from the other page and how it would benefit this one. I have already merged relevant missing information from the other page and placed it into this article 2 days ago (as noted in the edit summary as required) so the other page would be of no further advantage to this one Luke780 (talk) 02:44, 4 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
No shade on either version, and thanks for your good work. I only chose this one for the merge because it was created a few hours earlier. If no one objects, I will be glad to finish up the merge in a day or two unless someone has beat me to it. —Michael Z. 03:20, 4 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • My article is the Oleksandr Hnylytskyi page, the one that you suggest you merge the other page into as it was created earlier. However like I say, I have already merged content onto this page, what is it that you want to merge and how will it change my page? Luke780 (talk) 12:50, 4 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
The end result is one of the duplicates deleted and replaced with a redirect. I haven’t compared them line-by-line, or I’d have already done it. —Michael Z. 14:01, 4 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
I redirected the other article, as I note that Luke780 had already appropropriately moved the relevant content over.     Y Merger complete. Klbrain (talk) 13:03, 5 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
