Omalanthus populifolius → Homalanthus populifolius – The genus "Omalanthus" is now archaic, and "Homalanthus" is now the accepted nomenclature. Reference: James, T.A. & Harden, G.J. Support, the spelling Homalanthus is conserved against Omalanthus in the International Code of Nomenclature for algae, fungi, and plants (see here). With specific mention in the ICNafp, we have the strongest possible case for using one scientific name over another. Plantdrew (talk) 18:42, 18 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
